Why we would not bring our troops home from all, I mean, all these foreign countries?--because this type of deployment have been going on for Centuries and no President to date have the guts to say enough is enough; we are going home. Deployment of our troops --to Asian nations, the middle east, Europe and elsewhere have not and will not make us safe--the only benefits go to the corrupt regimes who rob us blind and keeping a few Generals employed; bring our troops home and the deficit will be no more.
Calls to bring our troops home will fall on deft ears, including President Obama--if he was to do something that radical, even though it make social-and economic sense and the right thing to do--he would not do it, if he did, the Republicans will be calling for his impeachment--Why? "He is Black man in a White man's job" a quote from my very best friend.
--A Black man in a White man's job--give rise to the Birthers and the so-called Tea Party folks, including right-wing talk show racists;
Deployment of our troops overseas is a long held tradition. We kill 30 of the so called enemy and 30 more show-up, kill those 30 and 30 more show-up and on and on it goes--a never ending cycle.
The Generals perpetuate this outdated practice, they don't want our troops home--and our Presidents; well, they cannot rock the boat-they are lead by the nose by these Generals; so they leave things the way they are and deploy more troops; they keep the tradition alive at the cost of American lives and American dollars, deficit or no deficit.
I WILL TELL YOU WHAT THESE WELFARE COUNTRIES ARE SAYING ABOUT US--
"THOSE STUPID AMERICANS--TAKE THEIR MONEY; LET THEM THINK WE LIKE THEM--THEY DON'T GET IT; THEY ARE SO NAIVE THAT THEY NEVER WILL"
