We pray in churches and elsewhere for forgiveness of our sins--but we cannot accept prayers for others who sin. The irony of it all--JESUS, HAS HE HANG THERE ON THE CROSS DYING; looked up into the heavens and said "Forgive them father for they know NOT what they do"--he was asking forgiveness for those who crucified him; how about that!. He did not ask for them to be condemned to eternity in Hell--remember these were people who crucified him in the most brutal of ways.
So you see my friends, some of us are hypocrites beyond belief--forgive me for my sins but not that other guy--he should go to Hell. "FORGIVE THEM FATHER FOR THEY KNOW NOT WHAT THEY DO"--THAT'S THE GOD I BELIEVE IN--FORGIVE US ALL, INCLUDING THE WORST AMOUNG US. And why can we separate religion from politics?
